Barb Wible writes: “Beetle is a charming little 3 year-old, 15 pound Chihuahua mix male who came into a very crowded dog shelter as a stray. He tested positive for heartworms there so came to Canine Lifeline to get the lifesaving treatment that he needed. Beetle finished his heartworm treatment in late July and is patiently waiting for someone to fall in love with him and bring him home. This little guy is as sweet as he is adorable! He's been with us at several adoption events now and just has a ball there. He loves playing with toys but also enjoys plenty of lap time too. He's got loads of spunk and doesn't view himself as a small dog! He gets along well with other dogs but won't tolerate any nonsense from them either!! Beetle is crate-trained and likely to be housetrained too. His adoption fee is $150. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and current on heartworm preventative. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it's a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you're interested in Beetle.” Barb Wible

Canine Lifeline, an all-volunteer organization, helps find homes for dogs in need. And Brecksville Patch wants to help them get the job done!

Barb Wible, who fosters many of the dogs for Canine Lifeline, has been providing Brecksville Patch with photos and information about some of these dogs. Last week's dog, Betsy, has been adopted, Wible said in an email.

If you'd like to meet some of the dogs in person, Canine Lifeline takes part in adoption events on the weekends, which are listed on its website.
