Brecksville Little Theatre Celebrates 70 Years
A review of past performances begins Friday at 8 p.m.
Brecksville Little Theatre’s 70 year celebration at The Old Town Hall begins Friday.
The performance will last a few hours and include bits of the theater’s previous 200 shows and various actors. "The Sound of Music," "Guys and Dolls,"Camelot" and "Steel Magnolias" are in the mix.
The show runs each weekend Friday through Sunday until May 14. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. and Sunday shows at 2 p.m. costing $10 a ticket.
Producer Georgia Maresh said nostalgia will be the biggest reason for attendance.
“If they’ve bought them [tickets] for years and years,” she said. “They’ll probably remember a lot of the shows we did.”
Among the actors will be Mayor Hruby, who will play both his past roles and a few of his brother’s roles.
“There’s so many different things in it, if you don’t like the first skit then stick around and you’ll probably like the next song,” Maresh said.
