Burntwood Tavern Looking to Open in December

Patch reader Wallace Huskonen posted an announcement Friday afternoon, saying the new Burntwood Tavern should be open in Brecksville by Dec. 3.
Well, we got Scott Fisher, the general manager at the Brecksville location, to confirm it, and Huskonen was right: the new Burntwood Tavern is planning to open up on Dec. 3, just in time for the holidays.
The opening is still a few weeks away, and Fisher suggested guests call ahead to confirm the open date. The date has been pushed back a bit already from its original November opening. The new restaurant’s number is (440) 546-7680.

People have been working to get the new restaurant ready. One new addition will be a patio, Fisher said.
And if anyone is looking for a local job, Fisher said the restaurant is still accepting applications.

Since our visit to the Rocky River Burntwood Tavern in Rocky River for lunch a few days ago, we visited the Chagrin Falls location for dinner. Another great dining experience. We arrived in time to enjoin the Happy Hour drinks and an appetizer, then had dinner. The bar area was pretty full when we arrived, and when we left, every table was occupied--amazing for a Thursday night. The owners and staff are doing something--or everything--right. We might even try out the Solon location before the Brecksville location opens.

Last Wednesday on our way to our daughter's house in Rochester, NY, we stopped in at the Burntwood Tavern in Solon for lunch. Another good experience! Have now been to all three and looking forward to Brecksville.
Met and talked with Scott Fisher, who is the general manager of the new location. He confirmed the Dec 3 opening date, with a week and a half to go.
