Construction and development was the focus of much of Tuesday’s City Council and committee meetings at City Hall.
The updates discussed included some new signs for the Community Center and Human Services Center, an addition for the Service Department at Blossom and the bicentennial memorial.
Council members also heard updates on the sanitary sewer and storm sewer projects around town and learned about some improvements the mayor would like to see that would address flooding. Mayor Jerry N. Hruby said he met with officials in nearby cities and with the Metroparks to discuss flooding in the region and how to deal with it.
