Four Foreclosed Brecksville Homes Up For Bid in September

Four foreclosed Brecksville homes are scheduled to go to the sheriff’s sale this month, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s website.
Just one Brecksville property was sold in August, according to the site.
The minimum bids on the homes in the September sales range from $80,000 to $250,000. Here’s a look at the homes up for bid as of Sept. 5. All the below information can be found on the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s website.
Sept. 10
- 9263 Province Lane: This house is described as a single brick and frame dwelling with a three-car garage. The appraised value is $375,000, and the minimum bid is $250,000.
- 7773 Grenadier Lane: This house is a single-frame dwelling with an attached two-car garage. The appraised value is $120,000, and the minimum bid is $80,000.
Sept. 17
- 3831 Sweetwater Drive: This home is described as a single-frame dwelling with an attached three-car garage. The appraised value is $245,000, and the minimum bid is $163,334.
Sept. 24
- 6700 Old Royalton Road: This is a unit in a brick and frame condominium. There is a two-car garage. The appraised value is $160,000, and the minimum bid is $106,667.

A foreclosure to someone is most likely the most embarrassing thing one could ever go through. I have lost all respect for the editors of the Patch for posting this information. How would the editors like if someone posted things about them on a similar website. While this is public information, I think it’s wrong to post this on this type of forum. I do not know what you are trying to accomplish, but I hope you feel better about yourselves at the end of the day by embarrassing your neighbors.

HMMMM. Why is someone who doesn't even live in this community (just visits) writing about it. Maybe Rachel can buy one of these foreclosed homes and actually live in Brecksville instead of Parma. While Brecksville has had only 38 properties in foreclosure in the past 12 months, Parma has had 383.
