Holiday Events in Brecksville: A Parade, Plays and More

The decorations have started going up, and Brecksville’s many holiday events are coming up soon—make sure to mark these on your calendar!

Updated, Nov. 29: The holidays are getting closer! Here’s a quick look at some of the festive activities coming up around town:

Update, Nov. 29:

  • Children can get some photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Brecksville Town Center from 12 to 3 p.m. on Dec. 1. According to a press release from The Snider Company, the Clauses will also be bringing some reindeer for the day. Photos will be $6 for one and $10 for two; proceeds will benefit the Yuletide Hunger Program.
  • The Snider Company is also hosting a holiday coloring contest for children 12 and younger, according to the release. Forms and entry boxes are available at stores throughout the center, and the deadline to enter is Dec. 22. Prizes will be awarded at random to finalists in a variety of age groups, and one random entry will win a family get-away package for Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron.
  • This year’s Gingerbread House Decorating Contest will be held from Dec. 17 to 21, according to the city’s website

And the Yuletide Hunger Program has begun collecting food and donations. The program helps families in the area around the winter holiday season. The Sun Star-Courier has a list of drop-off locations
