About 2,000 customers are still without power as of 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, according to FirstEnergy.
That number has been pretty steady since Tuesday morning.
Mark Durbin, spokesperson for FirstEnergy, spoke with Beachwood Patch Editor Nikki Ferrell Tuesday afternoon.
Durbin said the power should be repaired for most customers by the end of the week. Some customers, such as those west of Interstate 77 or near the lake, could see longer delays.
There are also still a number of roads closed in Brecksville. Here is a list from the Brecksville Police as of 4:45 p.m.
- Valley Parkway
- Vaughn Road
- Riverview Road at Vaughn Road
- Highland Drive north of 9174 Highland
- Chippewa Creek ford
The city has postponed Wednesday’s trick or treat and rescheduled it for Sunday evening.
