Joseph L. Finding, 73, Former Brecksville-Broadview Heights Teacher, Coach

Services will be held Wednesday and Thursday.

 

Joseph L. Finding, a former Brecksville teacher and coach, has died at the age of 73.

Zabor Funeral Home in Parma is overseeing the services and provided the following information on its website.

Finding was the husband of Antoinette “Ann” (nee Lipari), the father of Mary Rose Nischwitz (Robert), Teresa Smith (Bradley), Joseph S. (Donielle) and Anthony (Jennifer), the grandfather of Sean, Lauren, Michael, Samuel, Kyle, Patricia, Joseph II, and Makenna, the son of the late Joseph E. and Teresa and the brother of Kathleen Fleming (Ray) and the late Patricia Reed (Gene, deceased).

Cathy Harbinak, coordinator of community relations for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights schools, said Finding was a longtime junior high physical education teacher and a football coach. He retired in the early ’90s, she said.

Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Zabor Funeral Home. There will be a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Bridget of Kildare Church.

Coach Finding was a GREAT coach and a GREAT man. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
