The following incidents were reported by the Brecksville Police Department from June 29 to July 7. The information was compiled from police reports.

Marijuana and a crash

A Rocky River man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana after he wrecked his 2008 PT Cruiser on Wallings Road near U.S. 21 at about 10 p.m. July 2. He was also charged with failure to control his vehicle. He and a passenger were not seriously injured and refused to be taken to a hospital.

Statue damaged 

A resident of the 6300 block of Rockledge Drive told police someone had damaged  an outdoor water fountain sometime before 6 a.m. July 1. The statue was valued at $450.
