More Than Just Back Pain: Tips from the Doctors at Brecksville Chiropractic & Rehabilitation
The office has been in town for 10 years.
Chiropractors can treat more than just back pain.
“If there’s a joint related to it, we work with it,” said Adam Mack, one of the doctors at Brecksville Chiropractic & Rehabilitation.
Their office sees people with a variety of ailments, from lower back pain to headaches to problems with elbows, ankles and feet. The office on Brecksville Road also offers diet and nutritional advice, acupuncture and physical therapy, in addition to traditional chiropractic services.
And teaching patients what’s wrong is a strong focus, Mack said. The doctors want people to know what their problem is and how to work on it.
Here are a few tips from Mack and Aaron Gash, another doctor at the office:
- The most common reason people come in is stress, Gash said. Stress causes a lot of muscle and joint pain.
- Occasional aches and pains are normal, Gash said. But if the pain lasts for a week, that should be a warning sign.
- And it’s important to get check-ups to maintain health, Mack said. Joint or muscle pain may eventually heal on its own, but staying ahead of the pain helps people make sure it heals correctly and can prevent more problems down the line.
