More Wet Weather Coming
Weather Service issues flood watch through tonight.
As if we haven't had enough rain already, more showers and thunderstorms are expected today.
Brecksville dodged the worst of it yesterday as other parts of Northeast Ohio suffered the brunt of a line of thunderstorms and reported funnel clouds.
The National Weather Service in Cleveland said, "Another round of showers and thunderstorms will move across the region through this evening. These storms will be capable of producing moderate to heavy rainfall rates which will cause additional flooding ... especially where areas are recovering from yesterday's floods."
Brecksville police and fire departments said Riverview Road was closed by flooding near Vaughn. Chippewa Creek Drive in the Brecksville Reservation was closed at the creek because of high water.
FirstEnergy spokesman Mark Durbin said he knew of no outages in Brecksville as of noon today.
