Notice Something Missing? New Gas Station Being Built in Brecksville

The station and car wash should be ready by summer.

Drivers looking for the old Shell/truenorth gas station on Brecksville Road will be in for a surprise—it was torn down to make way for a brand new gas station.

The company is still the same, but everything else will be new. The station shut down on April 13 and renovations began on April 16, said Lindsay Lyden, general manager of marketing for truenorth’s Brecksville office.

The new station will feature a 3,500-square foot convenience store, four pump stations and a state-of-the-art car wash.

“We’re excited about it,” Lyden said.

Renovations are expected to take about 90 days, so the station should be open mid-summer.
