President Barack Obama will attend and speak at a Labor Day event in Cleveland, U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge announced Thursday night.
The 11th Congressional District Community Caucus Festival kicks off at 10 a.m. with a parade at East 146th Street and Kinsman Road. The parade will continue down Kinsman to Luke Easter Park, where Obama will speak. The annual event is hosted by U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge and the North Shore AFL-CIO.
After the campaign stop, Obama will travel to Charlotte for the Democratic National Convention. Tickets are not required to attend the event, but parking will be limited in the area around Luke Easter, according to Fudge's office.
