The Community Center is just about ready for the “Red, White and Blooming” flower show to begin.
Kathleen Habib, the treasurer of the Chippewa Garden Club and one of the people in charge of horticulture for the show, said that people with entries would be setting them up this afternoon and evening. She was setting up her own entries earlier this afternoon so that she could help others when they arrived.
The show, which is co-hosted by the Chippewa Garden Club and the Emerald Necklace Garden Club, opens to the public at 1 p.m. Saturday.
