President Obama Supports Gay Marriage

Obama says same sex couples should be allowed to get married.

President Barack Obama is a supporter of gay marriage.

The Huffington Post reports that Obama is the first sitting president to support the issue.

"I've always been adamant that gay and lesbian Americans should be treated fairly," Obama told ABC News' Robin Roberts. "... at a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married."

How does Obama's stance make you feel? How do you feel about same-sex marriages? Tell us in the comments.
