Roads Still Closed in Brecksville

The power is back on for the majority of the city.

While the FirstEnergy power outages have gotten better since Tuesday afternoon—about 630 customers in Brecksville are still without power as of 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday—driving around town is still a challenge.

The Brecksville Police reported that the following roads are still closed:

  • Valley Parkway
  • Vaughn Road
  • Riverview Road at Vaughn Road
  • Highland Drive north of 9174 Highland
  • Chippewa Creek ford

And don’t forget—trick or treat has been rescheduled for Sunday.

Editor's note: There hasn't been much change in the number of customers without power in Brecksville. About 650 customers were still without power as of 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday, according to FirstEnergy.
