Roads Still Closed in Brecksville
The power is back on for the majority of the city.

Vaughn Road was closed on a March afternoon in 2011 as city employees cleaned up after a flood.

While the FirstEnergy power outages have gotten better since Tuesday afternoon—about 630 customers in Brecksville are still without power as of 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday—driving around town is still a challenge.
The Brecksville Police reported that the following roads are still closed:
- Valley Parkway
- Vaughn Road
- Riverview Road at Vaughn Road
- Highland Drive north of 9174 Highland
- Chippewa Creek ford
And don’t forget—trick or treat has been rescheduled for Sunday.

Editor's note: There hasn't been much change in the number of customers without power in Brecksville. About 650 customers were still without power as of 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday, according to FirstEnergy.
