Since so many of Brecksville’s children made it on Santa’s “Nice” list this year, the jolly old man will be making several stops around the city to find out what all the youngsters want for Christmas.
But getting Santa’s December itinerary wasn’t easy. Brecksville Patch had to phone several folks from around the city who agreed to offer up all the holiday details:

Details: Bring your children down to the Brecksville Town Center and get their photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. As a special bonus, real, live reindeer will accompany the famous holiday couple. Photos will be $6 each or $10 for two. All proceeds will go to benefit the Yuletide Hunger Program. For more information, call the Snider Company at 440-526-2105.

Annual Children’s Christmas Play
When: At 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Dec. 10 and Dec. 11

Details: Every year, as a gift to the city, Mayor Jerry N. Hruby writes a play for Brecksville’s children to perform, according to Brecksville Community Center special events coordinator Kelly McNeill. This year, he decided to remake a 1997 play he wrote, titled “The Christmas With a Most Special Delivery.” Admission is free, but each person is asked to bring one canned food item that will be donated to the Brecksville Pantry program. Call the Brecksville Community Center at 440-546-2300 to reserve your seat.
When: From 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 13 and Dec. 14

Details: Want your son or daughter to receive a special call from Santa? To participate, parents are asked to fill out a form provided by the Brecksville Community Center, McNeill said. Simply submit a few quick details about your children and what gifts/wishes they have for the holidays, and Santa will give them a call and light up their imaginations.
