The Cuyahoga Valley Career Center recently highlighted the 253 students—including more than 50 Brecksville-Broadview Heights students—who had perfect attendance during the second quarter of the 2011-2012 school year.

The end of an academic quarter means that honor and merit roll lists won’t be far behind. But you don’t have to wait for us to find out about your latest accomplishment. You can add it to Brecksville Patch yourself with an announcement.

Then select the “Announcements” category under the news tab and choose “Add an announcement.” There are prompts depending on the category you choose. Just fill it out, and add some photos or videos if you’d like. It's free, straightforward and simple.

• Did you just beat your own record at family game night? No, seriously. A Connecticut reader used their Patch site to post about a competitive family Yahtzee game. I would love to hear about your little wins, too.
