The Brecksville-Broadview Heights’ community voted to renew a 6.8-mill levy for the school district on Tuesday.
Here’s a quick look at the numbers from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections:
- About 73.9 percent of voters were in favor of the levy, and about 26.1 percent were against it.
- About 26.5 percent of registered voters in Brecksville and the relevant Broadview Heights and North Royalton precincts cast a ballot in Tuesday’s election.
- In Brecksville, about 28.3 percent of the 10,514 registered voters cast a ballot.
- About 19.6 percent of all the votes came from absentee ballots. There were 1,021 absentee ballots counted as of election night.
These figures are still unofficial. Additional vote-by-mail ballots and provisional ballots can be included in the final, official numbers.
