Vote By Mail Applications to Be Mailed This Week
Voters can apply for a ballot in June or July for the Aug. 2 election.
Vote by mail applications should be showing up in residents’ mailboxes near the end of the week, according to a press release from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
According to the release, applications for ballots for the Aug. 2 election would be mailed to voters after June 16. Actual ballots would begin being sent at the end of the month.
The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District has a renewal levy on the Aug. 2 ballot.
According to the release, interested voters can also find applications at a local library or by calling or visiting the Board of Elections. They can also visit the Board of Elections website to download an application.
According to the Board of Elections website, applications for the Aug. 2 ballot may be requested through July 30, 2011, but the ballots need to be postmarked by Aug. 1 and received by the board by Aug. 12 in order to be counted.
