Services will be held Thursday and Friday.
Wilbur T. Johnston, of Brecksville, died Monday at the age of 85.
Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home is overseeing the services and provided the following information.
Johnston was the husband of the late Gloria L. (nee Carlson); the father of William T. (Kathy), Cynthia S. Thrall (Rob) and Jill A. Mack (Rick); the grandfather of Tracie Burns (Jay), Jason and Andrew Johnston, Jessica Shannon (Dan), Megan, Robby and Zach Thrall, and Richard and Morgan Mack; the great grandfather of Addison and Carleigh; and the brother of the late Raymond (Joyce, surviving) and Winifred Mitchell (George, deceased).
Johnston was a World War II Army veteran. He had been the area circulation manager at the former Cleveland Press and a retired bus driver for the Parma schools.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
