Brecksvile Citizens petition has been approved by the Ohio Supreme Court for inclusion on the November 6th Ballot. The Court has stated that the acts called for by the ordinance are within the City's legisltive authority to control and therefore was the proper subject for a citizens petition.. Attached to this blog is an informational flyer describing ballot issue #25.
This is an opportunity for the citizens of Brecksville to band together to have their voices heard. Our actions will embolden other communities to follow suit. Grass roots activism makes change happen.
We need to be the change: FDR told activists in his own party, "I agree with you, I want to do it, now make me do it."

The flyer badly misquotes Thomas Jefferson, and is misleading as to how Issue 25 effect the local government.
Vote NO on Issue 25

No, Jeff, sorry...our founding fathers never intended for corporations, unions, super-pacs & pacs to have the same first amendments rights as people. VOTE YES ON ISSUE #25. The Citizens United decision has put our democracy up for sale from the highest bidder. We average citizens have lost our voice...the funders now rule this country.
