Look through our searchable database for sales and transfers in Cuyahoga County in April.
During the month of April, there were 35 properties sold or transferred in Brecksville. During that same time, there were more than 4,200 properties sold or transferred across the county. You can use the searchable database above to find out which homes sold in Brecksville last month—and how much they sold for. The database is for the entire county, so you can check for homes beyond Brecksville's borders, too. The information in the database was provided by the Cuyahoga County Fiscal office. You can search by city, zip code or street address for properties sold or transferred during the month of April 2013. The same people who brought Austin’s Wood Fire Grille to Brecksville have opened another restaurant in the city.
The other foreclosed property was withdrawn by order of the court. Last month, six properties were listed in foreclosure.
There is only one foreclosed property in Brecksville headed to sheriff’s sale this month, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office website. Compare that to six from last month. May 20 The sale is slated for Monday, while one other property — on Sunnydale Drive — was withdrawn by order of the court.

The cost of colonoscopies, MRIs, CT scans and mammograms can shift a lot from place to place.
It costs $420 more to get an MRI in Cuyahoga County than Lake County. That's according to data from New Choice Health, a private company that encourages people to become smarter healthcare consumers. The two counties border each other, Cuyahoga County includes the city of Cleveland and the headquarters for MetroHealth Medical Center, University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic. These big regional differences have been in the news lately: As the Washington Post wrote last week, "One hospital charges $8,000 - another $38,000." Using the same data as the Post, The New York Times listed out the prices of a series of procedures in hospitals across the country.
