Akron Children's to Offer OHSAA Athletic Screenings in Brecksville

Middle and high school students can beat the summer rush and bring an Ohio High School Athletic Association form to Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics Brecksville office and get a preseason basic health screening for the 2012-2013 school year.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.

Board certified pediatricians Dr. Mark Evans and Carrie Bohenick, and board certified pediatric nurse practitioner Julie Tsirambidis will perform evaluations based on OHSAA requirements.

This checkup is not intended to replace a thorough annual physical. Students will have a chance to win an iTunes gift card, according to Registered Nurse Robin Rising.
