The Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service is a special time for members of many faiths to come together in a spirit of thanksgiving and community.  All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Why should you participate in a Thanksgiving Service?  Through gratefulness, we say yes to life. We say yes to God. We fully respond to each given moment and all its simple and complex blessings: the red apple, the hot coffee, the favorite sweater; the car that starts, the friend that calls, the sun that shines. We make a choice to focus on what it is that we love about life. Even, and especially, when times are tough.

During the Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service there will be an opportunity for a Thanksgiving offering to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy. Attendees may bring blankets to be donated to the relief efforts in New York and New Jersey and/or make financial contributions to the cause.

The event is hosted by the Brecksville - Broadview Heights Ministerial Association. For more information, please contact Rev. Stephanie Pace, St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 440-526-9865.
