You will learn how to design, create and maintain quality web pages and animations, learn about web design standards, HTML, CS5 and why they’re important. The course progresses from introductory work on web design to a hands-on project in which you will design and post your own website. You will be creating animations and video in Adobe Flash and placing them within your website. You will also learn Adobe Dreamweaver CS5. Completion of this web design & animation program will prepare you for the Adobe ACA (Adobe Certified Associate) exam for Dreamweaver CS5. This is the only noncredit program in the area. The class textbook and testing fees are included within the tuition. Macintosh computers are used exclusively for this class with PC-compatible software.

More About Cuyahoga Valley Career Center
The Cuyahoga Valley Career Center serves kindergarten through 12th grade students, as well as adults seeking to change careers or upgrade their skills. Established in 1972 by eight public school districts in Cuyahoga and Summit counties, it has accredited programs in nursing, cosmetology, as well as other business and technology related fields. Programs include a summer career camp for kids, a job fair for high school students to find summer or seasonal work and staff training for corporations.
