Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra to Perform Locally

Orchestra Youth Orchestra perform at the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School on Tues, MAY 6, 2014.  This 110-member orchestra is made up of musicians from Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.  The ages range from 12-18.  Rehearsals are held on Saturday mornings at Severance Hall.

Brett Mitchell, Assistant Conductor of the Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, will conduct the concert.  The program will include works by Torke, Prokofiev, and Berlioz.

 

The Kiwanis Club of Brecksville sponsors the concert. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM and last approximately two hours.
