Imagine no grocery store, no hardware store, and you not only have to make your own clothes, but you have to make your own fabric, too.
Cleveland Metroparks invites the community to its Fall Fest from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 in the Brecksville Reservation.
The popular event is free. Visitors can watch beautiful things being made by hand, and try out candle making, quill pen writing and pottery themselves.
Highlights include a colonial magician, corn popped over an open fire and old-time music. There will also be an encampment of a Brigade of the American Revolution – don’t miss the colorful uniforms and smell of gunpowder during their exciting skirmish.
Food concessions and pony rides are available for a fee.
Free shuttle bus service is available from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
