Why Go: This is the last weekend for Brecksville Theater on the Square's production of This serious show takes a look at World War II and the Holocaust.

Why Go: This year's Orchid Mania show runs through March 27. Other orchid-related events include photography and art displays.
Pricing: Tickets are $8.50 for adults and $3 for children 3 to 12 years old.
3. A STROLL DOWN BROADWAY
Where/When: , 2 Community Dr., Brecksville; 8 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: presents this tribute to Broadway in the Gathering Room of the Human Services Center. The night includes food and refreshments, a door prize and a raffle. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Call for reservations.
Pricing: $10 donation per person
4. AKRON SYMPHONY: ALL RACHMANINOFF
Where/When: EJ Thomas Hall, The University of Akron, 198 Hill St., Akron; 8 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: The show is conducted by Christopher Wilkins, and it features Martina Filjak, Cleveland International Piano Competition Winner, 2009.
Pricing: $25.75 to $33.75
Editor's note: The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad has cancelled all trips for March 5 and 6, according to a press release sent on Friday. If you wanted to try our fifth "Get Out" suggestion, you'll have to wait until next week!

Where/When: Brecksville Station, 13512 Station Rd., Brecksville; 10:15 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Why Go: Tour Cuyahoga Valley National Park via railway. Sit back and relax for the two-and-a-half hour round trip, or hop off and explore the shops and galleries of Peninsula during an hour-and-a-half layover. There's a concession car with fresh sandwiches, snacks and beverages. Rides will be offered only if flooding in the park has receded by the weekend. Call 1-800-468-4070 for more information.
