Quilting From the Heart in Brecksville

The event is slated to take place Sept. 20 and Sept. 21 at the Brecksville United Church of Christ.

You might remember the Western Reserve Quilters' Anonymous guild from its bicentennial quilt made for the city of Brecksville.

The guild will display quilts — and other quilted items made by members — at a special show at the Brecksville United Church of Christ from 10 .m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 21.

According to the event listing on Brecksville Patch, the display will feature quilts made for donation to the Quilts of Valor Foundation. In addition to the quilt display, visitors to the show can vote for their favorite item in the show, purchase a chance to win the guild's stunning raffle quilt, see demonstrations of some quilting techniques, and purchase small items made by guild members.
