With the weather finally cooperating, the U9 Avon Lake Bandits and Brecksville Bees did battle on the diamond Tuesday evening as the temperature was still near 90. The heat didn't seem to bother the kids, who were probably happy to avoid another rainout. We'll get a little bit of a break from the heat, with highs Wednesday forecast to be about 85, and then 80s through the rest of the week.
