It was (again) a busy week in Brecksville. In case you missed anything, here’s you opportunity to get the scoop.

  1. New Police Station Could Cost Up to $7 Million: A request for proposals is expected to come back soon, although the city wouldn’t likely break ground until 2014 or 2015.
  2. City Considers Next Use of Current Police Station: When the new police station is complete, there will be a little extra room at Brecksville City Hall.
  3. State Route 82 Closing… Again: This time, ODOT is closing the road for bridge repairs.
  4. Graffiti Scrawled on City Property: Police received a report that the freshly painted picnic pavilion pillars — near the Kids Quarters playground —were vandalized.
  5. Firefighter Clambake is Tradition in Brecksville: The annual event is set to take place at the Brecksville Service Garage from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 7.
