Book Picks from Your Local Library for Nov. 26

For adults:

Are you still trying to shake off your tryptophan hangover? Cuddle up on the couch with this nonfiction, tongue-in-cheek peek at who the Pilgrims really were. Who doesn’t remember having to fashion shoe buckles and bonnets out of paper for your kindergarten Thanksgiving play? Our stereotypes of the Puritans and Pilgrims are simple and few, but Vowell unveils a side of them not often seen in history textbooks.
