Brecksville Little Theatre's Production of "Mister Roberts" Begins Friday

Veterans and members of the military can attend for free on opening night.

’s latest show, , begins this weekend.

The play is set on a Navy cargo ship during World War II. Director Judi Kaye said that since it’s a military show, they wanted to find a way to honor those who have served or are serving the country.

So on Friday--opening night--veterans and members of the military can attend for free, Kaye said.

The play is a popular one, said stage manager Dina Collova, and the cast has come from all over the region.

Brecksville Little Theatre has produced this show in the past -- in fact, it's the first show Kaye was ever involved in. that she was a child when her father was in the show about 50 years ago.

When: Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, Oct. 7, 8 and 9 and Oct. 14 and 15 – Kaye said shows begin at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. for the Sunday performance.
