Where/When: The Village of Peninsula; from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Why Go: Enjoy the first weekend of spring with a leisurely walk through Peninsula. Check out the , Log Cabin Gallery and Park Place.

3. ALL-STAR JAZZ: THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF HERMAN LEONARD

Where/When: Akron Art Museum, 1 South High St., Akron; from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, except Thursday when the museum closes at 9 p.m.

Why Go: Herman captured images of jazz musicians performing onstage and during recording sessions.

Pricing: $7 for adults; $5 for seniors and students with valid ID. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult are free.

4. FEED THE PENGUINS ADVENTURE

Where/When: Brecksville Station, 13512 Station Rd., Brecksville; at 10:15 a.m. Sunday

Why Go: Take the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad to Akron and hop on a city trolley to the Akron Zoo to feed the penguins. Show your train ticket and get $1 off penguin food.

Pricing: $10 for the round-trip train ride, and $6 for zoo entrance.

5. BROADVIEW HEIGHTS SPRING FASHION SHOW

Where/When: St Sava Hall, 2151 West Wallings Rd., Cleveland; from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

Why Go: Preview the spring fashions of Ann Taylor at this fashion show and family luncheon. Special guest speaker is 19 Action News anchor Danielle Serino.

Pricing: $35.
