Frugal Family: Bargains Around Brecksville

Fine furniture and a summer activity for kids are just some of the deals this week in Brecksville.

This week's theme? All of these deals can be found north of state Route 82, on or near Brecksville Road.

1.

Deal: Owner Christopher Reminder is offering $1 off when you ship one item, $2 off of two items, and $3 off of three items shipped. They also have packaging on sale for $2 to $10 off and you can make your own black and white copies for $.05 apiece.

Deal: You can't put a price on keeping kids busy during the summer. But the Kiln is offering pottery summer camps for kids and the details are on its website. The cost is $175 per week and includes all supplies, a T-shirt, and snacks.

Good Until: New camp sessions begin the week of July 25, August 1 and August 15. Camp hours are from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Deal: Levolor shades and blinds are on sale for 10 percent off, right now. And manager Robert Rankin said that all paints and stains will be on sale for 40 percent off later this month.

Good Until: The Levolor deal is good through July 20. The paint sale will be valid from July 22 through July 24.

Deal: Owner Karen Lin said that customers who have orders of more than $20 can get two cans of soda for free, orders of more than $30 get their choice of a free cake or a free 2-liter bottle of soda and orders of more than $60 get a free cheesecake.
