Marc's Opens in Brecksville Town Center

More than 100 guests attend private ribbon-cutting ceremony, reports Cleveland.com

The new Marc's opened its doors in the renovated Brecksville Town Center on Feb. 15.

And, what better way to celebrate than a party?

The regional chain hosted private ribbon-cutting ceremony, with more than 100 guests attending, including Marc's founder Marc Glassman, reported Cleveland.com.

The store at 7510 Chippewa Rd. opened in the space most-recently occupied by Giant Eagle. That grocery store closed in 2011.

The space had been vacant since.

The new Marc's store is larger than the Giant Eagle was — interior renovations and construction gave Marc’s an additional 16,000 square feet for a total of 46,000 square feet.

The store is local chain’s first since its rebranding, according to a press release. The store will feature low prices as well as high quality fresh produce, meats and organic food. It will also include a cold-cuts counter.

I believe the letters on the front of the new Marcs are large enough to see from Independence. Maybe they thought we were blind. Did anyone check to make sure these meet code - and if they do - maybe the code should be changed!

This is different from every other Marc's how? Since you obviously need a hobby I've got a garage that needs rearranged or you could let my dog out at lunch time to save my spouse and I from having to come home.
