Peppermill to Close, Reopen Under New Owners
The current owner plans to close down this Saturday.
The will close its doors after business on Saturday, owner Gus Gallucci said in a press release on Monday.
The restaurant will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 4, under new management. According to the release, the new team will be led by Chef Joe Truscello with an Independence-area investment team.
Gallucci said in the release that he’s honored the new owners plan to keep the Peppermill brand and thanked his family, employees and guests for the past three years.
Gallucci said he’s excited about the new ownership, but that he couldn’t provide additional details at this time. He added that he thinks that the new owners will provide something new and exciting for the city.
