Today, Congressman Dave Joyce (R-OH) released the following statement marking National Public Health Week, April 1- April 7:
“As co-chair of the House Nursing Caucus, I’d like to celebrate this National Public Health Week by thanking the nursing community in Northeast Ohio. My wife has been a nurse for 22 years and I’ve seen firsthand the crucial role nurses play in their patients’ lives. This year’s theme is “Save Lives, Save Money” and it’s important we continue to focus on ways to improve patient care, expand access to coverage, and reduce health costs. I thank the nurses in Northeast Ohio who work every day towards achieving these goals.”
