9/11 Anniversary: American Legion to Hold Ceremony in Remembrance
The free event will take place Tuesday morning.
The will be commemorating the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11 on Tuesday morning.
The event is free and open to the public. According to information from the post, the ceremony will include lowering the flag to half-mast, a rifle salute, a prayer and a moment of silence. Events will begin at 8:45 a.m. at the post.
A light breakfast will follow the ceremony.
