Applications Due Tuesday for the City's Annual Christmas Parade

Anyone can take part.

Applications for the city’s annual Christmas parade are due Tuesday at the .

Carolyn Jatsek, who helps organize the parade, said anyone can participate. In the past, participants have included community organizations like Boy Scout troops, the marching band and local businesses.

Application forms can be picked at the Community Center or filled out online. There was also a form included in the Holiday 2011 edition of the Brecksville Bulletin.

Last year’s parade ended at for some special bicentennial programs, but Jatsek said they’re back to their traditional route this year. The parade will end with a tree lighting on Public Square, and there will be refreshments at the . The parade will begin at 4 p.m. on Dec. 4.
