Brecksville Named a “Tree City” Once Again
The city has received this designation for 16 years.
The city of Brecksville recently learned that it has been designated a Tree City USA community for the 16th year in a row, Mayor Jerry N. Hruby announced at .
The Tree City USA program is run by the Arbor Day Foundation. According to the foundation’s website, cities have to meet certain standards, designed to help communities care for their trees, in order to be eligible.
