Brecksville Names Bridge After Sgt. Dennis E. Kancler
The ribbon cutting on Old Royalton Road bridge took place Wednesday afternoon.
When the bridge construction began a year ago, no one knew what kind of importance it would hold today, Mayor Jerry N. Hruby said.
Brecksville honored at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Old Royalton Road bridge Wednesday afternoon. County Executive Ed FitzGerald attended, as well as Hruby, city workers and residents.
"The beauty of this bridge and the beauty of this area is a fitting tribute to a man who gave everything he had, including his life, to his country," Hruby said after the ceremony.
