Share your best tips for escaping the summer heat in the comments section.

Cuyahoga County is under an excessive heat warning today from the National Weather Service.

The warning lasts until 9 p.m. tonight. As of 10:45 a.m., the service is predicting that temperatures in Brecksville could reach 97 degrees, but that’s not the only factor. The warning notes that the high humidity could create heat indexes of 105 degrees to 115 degrees.

That means it’s more than just the usual summer heat out there.
