Get a Letter, a Call or Even a Gift From Santa

Santa’s awfully busy in Brecksville this time of the year!

Editor’s note: To preserve the magic of the season, this story is for parents’ eyes only!

Every year, millions of children sit down to make a wish list for Santa, hoping he will make all of their Christmas dreams come true.

But what if Santa actually wrote back? The United States Postal Service is now accepting "Letters From Santa," a program that allows any person to play Santa by sending a letter signed by Saint Nick to any child.

According to a postal service news release, "The 'Letters From Santa' program helps parents fulfill the dreams of their own children." Click here to find out how to take part.

In Brecksville, Santa doesn’t just write back—he picks up the phone and gives kids a call. He also makes time to stop by the Christmas play, to sit down for some breakfast at the Community Center and to deliver presents to children all over town! The Brecksville Kiwanis organizes the gift delivery, so check their site for more details. The Community Center handles the rest listed above, so give them a call or check the city’s website for more details
