High Temperatures Expected Today in Brecksville

The National Weather Service is predicting that temperatures in Brecksville will reach the low 90s today, and the service has a hazardous weather outlook posted for the area, reminding people to stay safe in extreme heat. 

The Ohio Department of Health has an informative article on its website about how to stay cool in high temperatures and how to recognize the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

  • Drink two to four cool beverages per hour if you’re being active – and avoid alcohol and caffeine, as those add to dehydration. 
  • If you’re going to be outside, plan activities for the cooler morning and evening hours. 
  • Keep a close watch on kids, who may not realize they’re getting overheated.
