What does Memorial Day mean to you?
Does it remind you of a particular person in your life, of their patriotism and dedication? Or maybe you don’t know someone personally who has served the country, but you have memories of attending parades and special ceremonies with your family.
Whatever Memorial Day means to you, we want to hear it. Brecksville Patch will be collecting your responses through the end of the week and publishing them on Memorial Day. If we get enough responses, we’ll spread them out over the weekend, too.
To participate, just send your name, hometown and a few sentences to Local Editor Rachel Abbey McCafferty by May 25. If you have some family photos you’d like to share, be sure to include them.
