Let It Snow … Maybe?

There is a slight chance for a white Christmas in Brecksville.

The weather outside has certainly been frightful.

But don’t expect those flakes to fall on Christmas.

If you’re still holding out hope, be sure to check The Weather Channel’s “2011 White Christmas Forecast.” The National Climatic Data Center defines a “white Christmas” as one where there’s an inch of snow on the ground—the snow doesn’t have to fall on Christmas day. As of Thursday, Northeast Ohio had just a “slight chance” of seeing snow on the holiday.

And the National Weather Service is predicting a chance of snow on Friday for Brecksville.

If you just have to see some snowflakes falling on Christmas, visit Google for a virtual treat. Type “Let it Snow” into the search bar and see what happens.
