Local Volunteers to Perform Free Furnace, Water Checks

Residents can apply at the Human Services Center.

The city of Brecksville wants residents to know about a regional program called Heat and Plumb the Country, where eligible citizens can sign up to get a free furnace check and water audit. 

According to a press release from the city, the program is a collaboration between volunteers from the Greater Cleveland Air Conditioning Contractors of America and the Northeast Ohio Master Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association. The program is run by the Cuyahoga County’s Department of Senior and Adult Services

The program will take place between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Sept. 17, and space in the program is limited. The deadline is Sept. 1 and residents can sign up at the . Learn more about the age and income requirements on the city’s press release
