Sweet Stella!!!

Sweet Stella!!!

We just couldn’t resist Stella when we saw her picture on the website of a county dog shelter. She came into the shelter as a stray and was just skin and bones–weighing only about 35 pounds when she should weigh 50+. This 3 year-old Boxer mix had definitely had a rough time out there on her own but has maintained her sweet disposition in spite of all she may have been through. The shelter raved about her spirit and loving personality so she came to Canine Lifeline for lots of TLC and help finding a new family for keeps. Stella has a great appetite and has been steadily gaining weight since she arrived here. She loves to play with other dogs but can be a little protective of her food around them which is understandable given her past. As long as dinnertime is monitored, she’d be fine living with another dog in the home. Stella LOVES people and is about as affectionate as you can imagine. She has perfect crate manners and loves curling up in her cozy bed. She also may be housetrained. Stella loves a quick romp in the snow but then is eager to come in and get cozy and warm again. She’s going to make a loyal and very devoted companion for one lucky family! Stella should be about 50+ pounds at her ideal weight and her adoption fee is $175. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up-to-date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Stella.

Please come visit us at our next adoption event at the Pet Co in Macedonia- this Saturday at 12-3pm!
